One of my main obsessions and worries related to animals is saving the Balkan's only big cat- the Balkan Lynx. As of right now they are a critically endangered species. It's believed there are only 35-40 remaining lynx in North Macedonia and 15-20 individuals in Albania. They have been on the brink of extinction for a while now. The Balkan lynxes' decrease in number have been thought to be due to poaching. It is highly illegal to hunt Balkan lynxes but there has been evidence that there is a market for Balkan lynx fur. Stuffed lynxes can sometimes be seen as decorations in some restaurants in the countryside. This was proven when one of the tracked lynx was killed and then found taxidermied in a local restoraunt. It's lonely being a Balkan Lynx. There are plans to introduce Carpathian Lynx in their habitat so that they don't inbreed with each other. Carpathian Lynx are the most similar to the Balkan Lynx.

When I was a kid the dolls I wanted to have were not available in my country. The Bratz dolls I had, alongside other dolls were stored in the attic during a brief room renovation, but my grandpa ended up throwing them away to get back at my dad or something. It really hurt me, and soon enough Bratz dolls stopped appearing at stores here. This is one of the reasons why I am currently focused on nurturing my inner child, by collecting and playing with dolls. I am currently collecting Monster High dolls, and I would really love to have a Bratz doll. I have also recently dabbled in doll making.
